Naga Chaitanya wants to appear on Koffee With Karan after ex-wife Samantha made her debut on the show
Tollywood superstar Naga Chaitanya, who will soon be making his Bollywood debut with Laal Singh Chaddha, has been currently busy promoting the film in full swing. On August 11, the movie, which also stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, will be released in theatres. Ahead of the film’s release, Chay was asked if he would participate in Karan Johar's popular celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan.
The Ye Maaya Chesave (2010) actor replied, “On Koffee With Karan, why not if I get a chance? Karan Johar is great, I love the work he does. If he wants to have me, why not?”
It's interesting to note that this happened soon after Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her chat show debut with Akshay Kumar. After she and Naga Chaitanya parted ways, Samantha said in the episode that life has been challenging. She acknowledged that they still hold grudges against one another.
Naga Chaitanya also stated in the same interview how he does not allow his personal life to interfere with his professional obligations.
Meanwhile, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their split in October 2021. The duo parted ways after 4 years of marriage. They first met on the sets of their film Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010 and instantly kicked things off. They were last featured together in the 2019 film Majili.
