The popular Malayalam actress, television host, and stage-show performer, Subi Suresh passed away at a private hospital in Kochi on Wednesday. She was reportedly undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments. She is known for her slapstick roles and spontaneous on-stage dialogue delivery. She possessed a huge fan following on small and big screens. At the beginning of her career as a mimicry artist in the Cochin Kalabhavan troupe years ago, and progressively formed a niche in male-conquered comedy shows on stage and television.
She was born in Tripunithura in Ernakulam and was quite active in school and college events and competitions.
She became an unavoidable occurrence in the live stage shows organized by multiple television channels in a shorter period. She grabbed the audience's attention through her hilarious avatars in popular TV series like Cinemala. She proved herself as a successful TV host on several channels. She entered the tinsel town in 2006 by working in the movie Kanakasimhasanam. She essayed small but memorable roles in over 20 films, such as Elsamma Enna Aankutty and Happy Husbands.
