Legendary star Kamal Haasan shared the news of his collaboration with Mani Ratnam on Sunday for his upcoming film. This film will be their first film collaboration after 35 long years, as they had earlier for Nayakam in 1989, an action drama film. Recently this star has appeared in the film Vikram.
The star shared a twitter post saying he will go again with Mani Ratnam's tentatively named film KH234. The star has mentioned the teaser for his new film. The film will be produced by the joint venture of Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies and Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. At the same time, AR Rahman will make the music. Kamal Haasan is working on his film named Indian 2; Shankar directs the film.

Ratnam directed Ponniyin Selvan -1 movie was a success at the box office. The film is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel Ponniyin Selvan. The next sequel of the film will hit theatres in th 2024.
