Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, is preparing for her next film, which will be produced by Lyca Productions. The film, named ‘Lal Salaam,’ is supposed to be a sports drama that would be released next year by Pongal.
The film has finished filming and is presently in post-production. It was recently stated that actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin's production business Red Giant Movies will handle the film's grand release distribution throughout Tamil Nadu. Many box-office blockbusters have previously been distributed by the firm, including Thalapathy Vijay's ‘Beast’ and ‘Varisu,’ Kamal Haasan's ‘Vikram,’ Ajith Kumar's ‘Thunivu,’ Mani Ratnam's magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I and Ponniyin Selvan: II,’ and most recently, Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Jawan’ in Tamil Nadu.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth wrote and directed ‘Lal Salaam,’ which stars Ratsasan actor Vishnu Vishal and Thalapathy Vijay's cousin and actor Vikranth. AR Rahman created the film's music. The most fascinating aspect of the film is that Superstar Rajinikanth will make a cameo appearance. In contrast to his work with his younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth in the 2014 3D animated period picture ‘Kochadaiiyaan: The Legend,’ this will be Rajinikanth's first time performing in his daughter's film.
Before this, Aishwarya Rajinikanth directed two other feature films: her 2012 first film with her now-separated husband Dhanush, named ‘3,’ and a 2015 film titled ‘Vai Raja Vai.’ Furthermore, it is likely that cricket icon Kapil Dev would make another appearance in the film.
Returning to Rajinikanth's projects, the actor is presently shooting on TJ Gnanavel Raja's ‘Thalaivar 170’, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fassil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Rithika Singh, and Dussara Vijayan. The first schedule for the film in Kerala was completed a few days ago.
After finishing this film, Rajinikanth will collaborate with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj on his standalone feature, ‘Thalaivar 171’, which will be produced by Sun Pictures. According to sources, the film will be a one-of-a-kind in the superstar's career.
