‘L2: Empuraan’, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is the sequel to his debut film Lucifer. Both films, with Mohanlal in the lead, have been the talk of the town for quite some time. Since the popularity of the first film, many people have been anticipating the sequel.

The film's first look, which shows Mohanlal standing in front of an AH-64 Apache helicopter with an assault rifle in his hands, was released recently. Though this may appear to be a fresh addition, the Easter egg for this initial glance was originally established in the first installment of the franchise.
In ‘Lucifer’, the truth-seeker character Govardhan (played by Indrajith Sukumaran) stated in a Facebook Live scene that Stephen Nedumpally (played by Mohanlal) was a strange guy who returned from Iraq or Afghanistan after running construction work in the war-torn area.
Many people have speculated and drawn parallels between how the initial look of the film fits the description from the first section and how the first look of L2 looks to be set in some Middle Eastern nation, such as Iraq or Afghanistan.
Over the course of its length, the first picture expertly evolved from a political drama to an action-thriller, with the startling revelation of an Illuminati-style cabal secretly masterminding events proving to be an intriguing twist for moviegoers.
Many admirers still appreciate the film's wide appeal and Mohanlal's understated yet strong performance.
‘L2: Empuraan’, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy, is the second installment of the Lucifer franchise's intended trilogy. The film is reported to be both a prequel and a sequel to the 2019 film, delving into the roots of Mohanlal's role as well as how other characters played by Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran were involved in the struggle.
