KWK 7: Samantha Ruth Prabhu claims that things are not amicable with her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya

One of the most popular actresses of current times Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut in the third episode of the famous talk show Koffee with Karan. The actress was joined by the Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar. Well, the episode had a lot of brewing statements from the actress, Karan questioned Samantha about her life following her split from her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya on the show. Last year, Sam and Chay made their breakup public on social media. Samantha immediately corrected Karan and said ex-husband when he asked her about the online harassment she had to deal with after divorcing her husband.

The Family Man actress said, “I couldn’t really complain about it because I chose that path. I chose to be transparent and I chose to reveal a lot of my life. And when the separation happened, I couldn’t be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers, which I didn’t at that point in time.” When asked about how she is doing in her life right now, the actress stated, “It has been hard but it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been.”

Samantha was trying to convince Karan to not ask questions about her divorce but the actress knew what she had signed up for when she decided to come on the show. So, Karan asked her if she had any hard feelings for her ex-husband, to which she replied, "Like if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects? Yeah. As of now, yes. The situation is not amicable right now, but it may be some time in the future."

Following a four-year marriage, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya divorced in October 2021. Before getting married in Goa in October 2017, the couple had been dating for a while. Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha is awaiting the release of her film Yashoda which is directed by Hari-Harish.
