A video that went viral and was said to show Indian star Rashmika Mandanna getting into an elevator turned out to be a deepfake made by AI. This has made people worry about how much fake content there is on social media. Many people thought the movie was real, but when they looked more closely, they saw clear signs that it was fake.

Abhishek Kumar, an Indian journalist, took the initiative to find out where the video came from and has called for new laws and rules to be made to stop the spread of fake material on the internet. The video was first posted on Instagram on October 8 and showed a woman named Zara Patel.
She has no known link to making the AI generated fake video. The people who made the fake version and their goals are still unknown. Still, this event has brought to light a worrying rise in fake videos featuring celebrities from a wide range of fields, which could spread false information and hurt people.
A close look at the original and deepfake versions showed a very important difference. At first, Patel's face was the most noticeable in both forms. But about one second into the video, her face changed into that of Rashmika Mandanna, who was accidentally included in the AI-made fake video. This adds to the worries about how celebs' pictures are being used wrongly.

This incident shows how important it is to be careful when using technology, because deepfake technology makes it hard to keep truth and validity in media and online platforms.
