Kalki 2989 AD: The Makers UNVEILS The First LOOK Of Amitabh Bachchan On His Birthday! (View Post)
Amitabh Bachchan is constantly bathed in golden light. On the 81-year-old actor's birthday, the creators of his next mythological-sci-fi epic Kalki ‘2898 AD’ presented a poster from the film.
Bachchan's first-look poster teases his role as a sage standing straight in what appears to be a cave, with sunlight falling directly on top of him. The poster depicts the megastar with a thick beard and only his eyes visible.

Nag Ashwin directed the multi-lingual sci-fi film, which was previously known as ‘Project K.’ Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone also act in the key roles.

About ‘Kalki 2898 AD’:
Kalki is said to be the last incarnation of Vishnu, who has yet to manifest in Hindu mythology. When the current age, also known as the Kalyug or Kali yuga, comes to an end and the world is controlled by oppressors, Kalki will come to the planet to end the tyranny and begin a new era.
