Kaantha: Dulquer Salmaan And Rana Daggubati COLLABORATE For Upcoming Multi-Lingual Film (Details Inside)

The title of the upcoming bilingual film starring actor Dulquer Salmaan is ‘Kaantha,’ according to the producers. Selvamani Selvaraj, known for his work on ‘Nila,’ is the film's director. Rana Daggubati and Salmaan are supporting it through their respective production companies, Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films.

According to a press release, this endeavour is the beginning of the two celebrities' working relationship as producers. On Friday night, the filmmakers revealed the title of the film in honour of Salmaan's 40th birthday. The 'Sita Ramam' actor will appear in 'Kaantha' in a never-before-seen avatar, according to the producers.

Salmaan declared that he is eager to take on the most difficult role of his career. The actor said, “'Kaantha’ is extremely close to my heart. I've been eager to bring this to life from the day I heard the story as it's unlike anything we’ve seen in Indian cinema. To produce this along with Spirit Media and to perform one of the most challenging roles in my career is definitely an exciting journey that I am looking forward to.”

Spirit Media's creator, Daggubati, stated that he wanted to make films that would appeal to viewers of all ages and socioeconomic groups.

The actor and producer stated, "We are always on the lookout for unique but universally appealing stories, and 'Kaantha' undoubtedly fits that vision. Collaborating with Dulquer and Wayfarer Films and having a brilliant director Selvamani Selvaraj on board is truly rewarding, and for my friend Dulquer this is a delightful gift from the team to celebrate his birthday, with millions of his fans.”

The highlight of ‘Kaantha,’ in the director Selvamani Selvaraj's opinion, is Daggubati and Salmaan, who he is happy to be working with.
