‘Irugapatru’s’ Plot:

‘Irugapatru’ explores the lives of three married couples, each with their own narrative to tell.

Shri and Saniya Iyyappan play a young couple who are in love and about to marry. Their love, however, appears to wane over time, resulting in frequent disputes and a sense of being imprisoned in their marriage. Vidharth and Abarnathi play a couple whose family planned their marriage.

Love was never a factor, but what happens when one of them yearns for more? Vikram Prabhu and Shraddha Srinath play a couple with what appears to be a great, balanced relationship. Vikram Prabhu wonders why they never fight. Shraddha's job as a marriage counsellor has taught them how to dispute in a healthy way.
