Rajinikanth and his wife, Latha Rajinikanth, were sighted yesterday at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, where they were watching India vs. New Zealand in the ICC World Cup semi-finals.
The photo of the pair playing the game together was captured by their daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth, and instantly went viral on social media. Another shot has Rajinikanth and his wife, Latha Rajinikanth, as well as batsman Shikhar Dhawan. The photographs also show Latha Rajinikanth's brother and Anirudh Ravichander's father, Ravichander Raghavendra, watching the game with them.

Rajinikanth and his wife were sighted coming in Mumbai yesterday and were photographed by photographers at the airport. The star was all smiles as he and his wife arrived outside the airport. He even reacted to papas' Diwali wishes and returned them, earning the hearts of many netizens. Despite being one of India's biggest stars, the internet adored the actor's down-to-earth demeanour.
Rajinikanth was most recently seen in the hit film ‘Jailer’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, and Tamannaah Bhatia. In cameo parts, the film also included stars Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff.
Furthermore, Rajinikanth will appear as an extended cameo in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's upcoming directorial flick, ‘Lal Salaam’. The film, which is supposed to be a sports drama, stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the key roles.

In addition, Rajinikanth will appear in his next film with ‘Jai Bhim’ director TJ Gnanavel, tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 170’, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati.
