SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR, which released in March this year, has recently hit the theatres in Japan. And to promote the film, the starcast including Jr NTR and Ram Charan as well as Rajamouli himself are in the Asian country, interacting with fans and attending events for the film.
Recently, a video surfaced online in which Jr NTR can be seen speaking in fluent Japanese at a promotional event for RRR in Tokyo city. Addressing fans, the South superstar said, "Hi everyone! how are all of you? Nice to meet you all... Please do watch the film (RRR), you will surely enjoy."
He ended his short address by saying Arigato Gozaimasu, (which translates to 'Thank You' in Japanese language).

Later, NTR took to English and seeked apology to his Japanese fans in case he made any mistake while speaking in their language. He shared that his first visit to Japan has been overwhelming and thrilling. "Some of the most sweetest and humblest people live in Japan. I cannot thank you all enough for the love that I received," he added.
Noteworthy, RRR releases on 25 March 2022 to packed theatres. Produced by D. V. V. Danayya, the period film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris in lead roles.
The plot revolves around two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR), and their fight against the British Raj in the 1920s.
The Rajamouli directorial is said to have grossed between ₹1,111 crore (US$140 million) and ₹1,200 crore (US$150 million) worldwide by the end of its run. The box office collection of RRR even surpassed that of Baahubali franchise.
