‘Ghost’, featuring legendary actor Shivarajkumar, is the lone Kannada release during the holiday Navratri week. This is his first film after the smash Jailer, in which he starred alongside Rajinikanth. Ghost, directed by MG Srinivas, is a robbery thriller that debuted on the same day as other south Indian blockbusters such as Vijay's ‘Leo’ and Nandamuri Balakrishna's ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’. Despite the competition, the ‘Ghost’ flick has received positive feedback on X (previously Twitter).
Shivarajkumar fans have praised ‘Ghost'’s first half for Arjun Janya's "excellent background score," an interesting narrative, and "breathtaking elevation scenes" that highlight Shivarajkumar like never before.

The film is a heist thriller that takes place mostly in a jail. In addition to Shivarajkumar and Jayaram, the film's ensemble cast includes Anupam Kher, Prashanth Narayanan, Archana Jois, Satyaprakash, and Dattanna.
According to OTTplay, ‘Ghost’ was launched in Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil on October 19, with the Telugu version following a week later on October 27. While the Shivarajkumar film was also released in Kerala, the distributor is reportedly showing the Tamil version in the state. Meanwhile, Pen Studios is presenting the Hindi version, which is likely to give the picture a good showing.
