Shiva Rajkumar's acting career is now at a very exciting period, with several interesting projects in the works. As you may know, the Kannada actor has never shied away from trying new films and characters. However, Shiva Rajkumar is now branching out into the Tamil film business, with a possible debut in Malayalam cinema.
In an exclusive interview with an entertainment agency, the acclaimed actor discussed his debut into the film industry and his experience thus far. Surprisingly, Shiva Rajkumar claimed that, after his father, iconic actor Dr. Rajkumar, veteran superstars Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan were his biggest influences.
In his interview, Shiva Rajkumar claimed that when he made his debut as a kid actor, he was never interested in performing. According to the celebrity, he became so irritated while filming on his debut film that he tossed away his wig and walked out. Shiva Rajkumar, on the other hand, was given a feature when a filmmaker noticed him in a cinema theatre.
When the director learned that he was Dr. Rajkumar's son, he addressed the legend, who instead urged his son to finish his education if he wanted to become an actor. According to Shivanna, due to idols Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan, he gradually acquired an interest in acting from then on. "I adore Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan Ji. They are both my favourites. They are identical to my two eyes. And my father is my heart," Shiva Rajkumar explained.
"I admire Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Kamal sir's eyes are appealing, as are Amitabh sir's voice and screen presence. Whenever he appears on screen, it's huge," the Kannada superstar continued. Shiva Rajkumar also stated that he was inspired by Sr. Bachchan's ‘Agneepath’ role for his ‘Ghost’ avatar, particularly in terms of body language.

The film, billed as a heist action thriller, stars Shiva Rajkumar in the title role. The MG Srinivas-directed film stars Anupam Kher, Jayaram, Prashant Narayanan, Archana Jois, Satya Prakash, and others in prominent parts. Ghost released in theatres today as a Dasara special and has been gaining positive feedback from the audience.
