Renowned Malayalam actress, KPAC Lalitha left us on 22nd February, 2022. The Amaram (1991) actress, who died in Kochi on Tuesday, was remembered with tears by people from all walks of life.

Malayalam actor, Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram to share his last moments with the legendary actress. He shared a carousel of photos in which he can be seen giving the legendary actress a heartfelt hug, and she reciprocated by laying a kiss on his cheek. The Ok Kanmani (2015) actor can be seen dressed in a black shirt and matching denims whereas Lalitha is donning a traditional red silk saree with orange and blue borders. Dulquer Salmaan wrote an emotional caption along with the picture.

"My best on screen pairing. The most love I’ve felt for a co actor. As an actor she was magic, wearing her genius as lightly as her smile. I’ve never felt more alive in a scene cause she transcended the written word. These pictures are from our last day together. I couldn’t let go and demanded hugs and kisses. She kept saying we should do a film where we are a mother and son constantly bickering. I thought we had time. Like how we began every text message to each other ….Chakkare Evideya ?? #lalithaaunty #endechakkarakutty #myhearthurts", wrote the 35-year old actor.

Duquer Salmaan's father, actor Mammooty also paid tribute to his long-time co-star KPAC Lalitha. He arrived at her son's residence where her funeral was taking place. "I have lost someone I cherish so much," he said in a social media post extending his condolences. Mammootty has appeared in a number of films with Lalitha, including Mathilukal (1990) and Kanalkkattu (1991).

Meanwhile, on Salmaan's work front, he was last seen in the biographical suspense thriller, Kurup (2021). He has an interesting lineup of movies for 2022. He will be next seen in Hey Sinamika alongside Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal, Salute alongside Diana Penty, Yuddham Tho Rasina Prema Katha opposite Mrunal Thakur and Soubin Shahir directorial, Othiram Kadakam.
