The debut date for the highly awaited Telugu Original series ‘Dhootha’, starring Naga Chaitanya, has been revealed. NorthStar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is the production company founded by Sharrath Marar and directed by Vikram K. Kumar.
On December 1, the supernatural suspense-thriller will be released on Prime Video. In ‘Dhootha’, the ‘Love Story’ actor plays Sagar, an ambitious and accomplished journalist who becomes engaged in strange happenings.
In the recently released poster, Naga Chaitanya was seen carrying an umbrella and sporting a serious expression. The backdrop is embellished with words, giving the impression that letters are dispersed throughout the whole scene.
With its thrilling narrative and otherworldly undertones, the series is likely to keep fans on the edge of their seats. ‘Dhootha’, starring Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, is one of the year's most anticipated Telugu Original web series.
In the ‘Dhootha’ web series, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni plays Sagar, an ambitious and successful journalist who becomes consumed by supernatural happenings that are linked to numerous inexplicable and terrible murders and are now following his family. An eclectic ensemble cast, including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Prachi Desai, plays crucial parts in the eight-episode series.
Naga Chaitanya was most recently seen in Venkat Prabhu's ‘Custody’, which also marked his Tamil debut. Aravind Swamy, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Jayasudha, and other actors appeared in the film. The film was produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen, while the soundtrack was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Naga Chaitanya is also reunited with ‘Premam’ director Chandoo Mondeti for an untitled movie. The film also marks the actor's on-screen reunion with Sai Pallavi following the 2021 feature ‘Love Story’.

The film is produced by Bunny Vasu under the name of Geetha Arts and is based on the true stories of Srikakulam fishermen. The actor and filmmaker have previously visited the village of K Matchilesam to learn more about the fishermen and their way of life. According to reports, Chay would portray a young man from a fishermen's community in a tiny village in Andhra Pradesh.
