Dhanush’s latest bilingual drama ‘Vaathi’ drops the first look
Actor Dhanush who was a sensation in ‘The Gray Man’ has now returned with a new treat for the audience. The actor is playing the role of a hardworking teacher in this much-awaited bilingual drama titled ‘Vaathi’. In the poster, Dhanush is seen working hard at a desk with stacks of books. The makers also revealed that the teaser for the film will drop in a matter of a day.
The film was conceptualised and directed by Venky Atluri. The cast stars Samyuktha Menon as the female lead, along with Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi, and Praveena in prominent roles, apart from the rest.
The film is produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under their banned Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.
The film presented by Srikara Studios is about the journey of a common man who has to fight against a corrupt education system.
Venky Atluri recently spoke about the film saying "Dhanush will be seen as a lecturer in Sir. The film revolves around the education system and is simultaneously being made in Tamil and Telugu. Dhanush’s unflinching support on the sets is indeed unbelievable. GV Prakash’s music and Yuvraj’s cinematography are among the major highlights of the film."
Actor Dhanush also has a musical comedy called ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ for his fans. He will also star in a suspense drama titled ‘Naane Varuven’. Also in the works is ‘Captain Miller’.
