‘D51’, the impending collaboration between actor Dhanush and director Sekhar Kammula, is generating a lot of buzz. This trilingual Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi production promises to be a significant undertaking for the duo.
According to sources, ‘D51’ will begin filming in Mumbai and Cochin in early 2024. According to reports, the film would feature a political setting inspired by true events. Dhanush and Kammula are reuniting with music composer pair Devi Sri Prasad, who have previously collaborated on successful films.

Dhanush will be seen in a whole different light in D51, as he takes on a character that promises to reshape his on-screen identity. Sekhar Kammula, known for his remarkable storytelling abilities, has devised a plot that will showcase Dhanush's variety and range.
Dhanush is joined by the amazing Rashmika Mandanna and the famous Nagarjuna. Dhanush's much-awaited Telugu debut is also marked by ‘D51’.
Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao's grandiose production, under the names of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, promises to be a visual spectacular.
Rashmika Mandanna, a well-known star in the South Indian film business, has a busy year ahead of her. Aside from her key role in ‘D51’, she will reprise her popular character in Allu Arjun's ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. Her fans may also look forward to seeing her in the highly anticipated films ‘Rainbow’, directed by Dev Mohan, and ‘The Girlfriend’, as well as the upcoming Hindi feature ‘Animal.’

Dhanush is presently working on ‘Captain Miller’, his next film with director Arun Matheswaran. The cast of the film, which is believed to be a period-action adventure, comprises Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, and Edward Sonnenblick. Dhanush is also working on his 50th feature, a historical drama written and directed by Dhanush and produced by Sun Pictures.
