Confirmed! Indo-British actress Priyaa Lal roped in for Gentleman 2

Actress Priyaa Lal has been roped in by the makers of Gentleman 2 (2022) to play the second lead in the film, which is going to be a sequel to Gentleman (1993)

The news was confirmed by the producer of the film KT Kunjomon who took to twitter and shared a picture with the actress. The caption of the post read- “The enthusiastic Priyaa Lal will be another lead actress in our Mega movie ‘Gentleman 2’.”

Kunjumon, who has bankrolled a number of blockbusters in Tamil, including Prabhu Deva’s Kadhalan (1994) and the Vineeth and Abbas-starrer Kadhal Desam (1996), is making a comeback as a producer with Gentleman 2. However, there is no news as to who would be directing the film.

Priya, who is of mixed British and Indian descent, will play the second lead in Gentleman 2. The movie will also mark the debut of Nayantharaa Chakravarthy, who has acted in over 30 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu as a child artiste.

As per reports, the pre-production work for Gentleman 2 is expected to commence this year. While the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced, ace music composer MM Keeravani (who scored music for Baahubali) will be working on the project.
