Indian actor Suyash Panday, better known by his stage name Chunky Panday, was born on September 26, 1962. He performs in Bollywood movies. In a career spanning more than three decades, he has made appearances in more than 100 movies.
In Hindi, his most popular movies were made between 1987 and 1994. His career in Hindi cinema dwindled away after his lead hero failures in those films starting in 1994. After that, he began to work in Bangladeshi cinema in 1995, where the majority of his films found success. Since 2003, he has played supporting roles in Hindi movies.
Now that he has successfully entered southern India, Chunky Panday is now enthralling fans in mainstream Bollywood with his versatility. When it opened in theatres in Chennai in October, P. S. Mithran's and Chunky's first Tamil movie, "Sardar," which was written and directed by Mithran, passed the 100 million mark. His previous movie, "Saaho," brought in a staggering 450 crore. Chunky received praise from critics and viewers alike for his roles as antagonists in both movies.
Chunky continued, "On playing an adversary yet again, "Exploring such a dark persona was an enriching and intriguing experience. P.S. Mithran made a masterfully produced movie called "Sardar." I portray a very strong figure who, like a king who is business-minded, can pervert justice in order to maximise profits. After all, who doesn't like pretending to be a monarch?"
Sardar was uploaded on AHA, an OTT platform on November 18 for the rest of India to watch after making box office cash registers ring. Karthi and Rashi Khanna play important parts in the movie.
