Amazon Prime Video to stream Allu Arjun's Pushpa from January 7

After shattering a series of records at the box office, Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun’s latest blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise is gearing up for its digital premiere. Directed by Sukumar, the action-drama film will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from January 7, 2022.

Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in important roles, Pushpa: The Rise entered theatres on December 17, 2021, and opened to great box office response. Apart from Telugu, the film received phenomenal response for its dubbed versions also, including Hindi. In Hindi, Pushpa: The Rise is inching towards crossing the coveted ₹75 crore mark.

The film is going strong at the ticket counter even after 20 days of its theatrical release. It is expected to garner a rousing response upon its digital premiere. Today, the makers made an official announcement regarding the digital premiere of the film. Amazon Prime Video also confirmed that the film will stream on the digital platform soon.

Pushpa: The Rise is directed by Sukumar and produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the banners of Muttamsetty Media and Mythri Movie Makers. The second part of the film, titled Pushpa: The Rule, is expected to release next year in 2023.
