Ajith Kumar's Father P Subramaniam Passes Away

P Subramaniam, the actor Ajith's father, passed away in Chennai from an illness. P Subramaniam was 85 years old and a Malayali from Palakkad, Kerala. His three children Anup Kumar, Ajith Kumar, and Anil Kumar, along with his wife Mohini, survived him.

On social media, condolences have been pouring in from Ajith Kumar's fans and members of the Tamil cinema community. The famous actor is currently vacationing in Europe with his wife Shalini and children and is on his way to Chennai. Anup Kumar, Ajith Kumar, and Anil Kumar released the following statement together: "Our father, P.S. Mani, passed away in the early hours of this morning, in his sleep, after a long illness. He was 85.bWe are grateful for the care and support provided to him and our family by a number of medical professionals, especially following his debilitating stroke of four years ago.

We are comforted, at this time of grief, that he lived a good life and knew the undying love of our mother, his partner of nearly six decades. His last rites will be a family affair. We trust that all who have known loss will respect our wish to grieve privately and deal with his passing with as much equanimity and dignity as possible."

On the work front, Ajith's upcoming movie has not yet received a formal announcement. He was meant to collaborate with director Vignesh Shivan on the movie "AK62," but the project was shelved. Rumor has it that he will now work with director Magizh Thirumeni.
