South superstar Dhanush K. Raja has resumed shooting for 'Captain Miller', post a month-long break. As per latest reports, the cast and crew of the film have commenced shooting for the second schedule of the film in Tamil Nadu's Courtallam.
The film's first schedule ended in December 2022 after which a holiday break was announced. The cast and crew took time to celebrate festivals like Christmas, New Year and Pongal with family and dear ones. And now, with the ending of the holiday season, the team of Arun Matheswaran’s ‘Captain Miller’ are back in action.
The film presents an ensemble star cast including Priyanka Mohan, Sandeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Shivraj Kumar and John Kokken. All the actors will soon join Dhanush on the sets of the film.
Based in the backdrop of the 1930s and 1940s era, 'Captain Miller' is touted to be a period film. The storyline is set in the forested areas of Tenkasi in Tamil Nadu. Not so long ago, the makers of the film released the first poster of ‘Captain Miller’ which garnered a positive response.
On work front, Dhanush won rare reviews for his act in the international movie 'The Gray Man.’ The 'Raanjhanaa' actor shared screen space with global stars like Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas in the film.
The 39-year-old actor will next appear Venky Atluri's ‘Vaathi’. Touted to be romantic entertainer, the film is scheduled for a release on 17 February 2023.
