One of Dhanush's early films, Thulluvadho Ilamai, is slated to return to theatres, which is wonderful news for all of his fans. Today, July 8, Tamil Nadu theatres will once again screen the romance drama. In anticipation of this year's release of Selvaraghavan and Dhanush's suspense drama Naane Varuven, a re-release has been planned.
According to reports, Dhanush's debut film will be rereleased in Tamil Nadu theatres after 20 years. In addition to the Raanjhanaa (2013) actor, the film also starred Pyramid Natarajan, Abhinay, Sherin, Ramesh, Shilpa, Gangeshwari, Vijayakumar, and Ramesh Khanna in significant roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Viji Manuel provided the soul-stirring music.
The film narrates the story of six high school students, three boys and three girls, from various socioeconomic backgrounds, who decide to live together independently with the support of an older acquaintance after experiencing various hardships in their respective families.
Dhanush and his brother, filmmaker Selvaraghavan, collaborated for the first time on the drama film, which was released 20 years ago. The movie's greatest significance, nevertheless, is that it served as Dhanush's acting début in the Tamil cinema industry. The screenplay for the movie was written by Selvaraghavan. Dhanush and Selvaraghavan's father Kasthuri Raja directed it.
Speaking of work, Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of Vaathi, helmed by Venky Atluri. He will also be seen in Captain Miller, which is still in production.
