The recently declared 69th National Film Awards showcased a significant presence of Telugu cinema, with films like 'RRR' and 'Pushpa' securing a majority of the awards. Conversely, Tamil films, including Suriya's 'Jai Bhim,' Dhanush's 'Karnan,' Arya's 'Sarpatta Parambarai,' and Simbu's 'Maanaadu,' along with Malayalam films like Joju George's 'Nayattu' and Tovino Thomas's 'Minnal Murali,' did not receive the anticipated recognition.
