The film, which has been off to a roaring start at the box office, is reportedly lagging behind the records set by Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' and Pathaan released earlier this year. According to Sacnilk.com, the film's advance is low considering it is a big movie and also enjoys the benefit of a festival weekend.

Tiger 3 sold an estimated 635,430 tickets through advance sales, recording a collection of Rs 17.48 crore. This is still less as compared to Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' which sold an estimated 748,806 tickets in advance sales and earned Rs 21.62 crore.
The film is heading for an outstanding first day as collections are set to be around Rs 42 crore nett. However, the collections are slowing in the evening and night because of the Diwali Puja and the fact that many cinemas shut up shop early on Laxmi Puja day.
