The 2003 film ‘Saamy’ based on the cop story directed by Hari was a major hit. So the makers decided to make the sequel to it, titled ‘Saamy Square’ with the same cast. The shooting of the film has been started but yesterday, Trisha , the female lead backed out of the film. In the sudden turn of events, Trisha took to Twitter to announce that she won’t be part of the sequel (titled Saamy Square) anymore. Her tweet read, “Due to creative differences, I have chosen to opt out of Saamy 2. Wishing the team, good luck.”

Trisha and Vikram were in leads in the first installment of the movie and this time actress Keerthy Suresh was also added to the cast. Trisha’s sudden backing out of the movie has left the makers shocked and when Trisha’s mother Uma Krishnan was asked about the scenario, she stated to one of the portals that “I can’t talk more about the reason why she backed out of the project. There was a difference of opinion. She has not shot any of her portions for the film,” she added.
