Sony Pictures International to collaborate with Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran’s production house!

Malayalam actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who debuted in Hindi film industry with Aiyyaa opposite Rani Mukerji, is all set to collaborate with Sony Pictures International. In March 2018, Prithviraj announced the launch of his independent production company named Prithviraj Productions and now he will jointly produce a Southern language film with the international production house. This is going to be Sony International’s first out and out production venture in Southern cinema and Sony Pictures India confirmed the news as well.

The production giant revealed the big news on Twitter, captioning, “.@SonyPicsIndia, forays into regional cinema. Ties up with Malayalam Superstar @PrithviOfficial's banner Prithviraj Productions for maiden home production. Shoot begins Mid-April 2018.

Actor Prithviraj also revealed the news saying he narrated a script to Sony and by evening, the two agreed to collaborate over a cup of coffee.

Prithviraj feels Sony International coming to Malayalam cinema is a landmark itself. He also promises to deliver a pool of content-driven movies with a joint effort with his wife, Supriya.
