Gorgeous actress Samantha is going places. One of the leading ladies of South Indian cinema, the four-time Filmfare award-winning actress has reportedly bagged a Tamil, Telugu bilingual remake of Shraddha Srinath starrer Kannada movie U-Turn, which was helmed by Pawan Kumar. The movie was a huge success upon its release in 2016 and the makers of its remake are wishing to replicate the same kind of success.

Samantha will start shooting for the film early January. "Extremely excited about doing this film! I have been in touch with Samantha for taking this film up since 2015. We are planning to shoot from January," says Pawan Kumar.

Pawan, who directed the original version, is bankrolling its Tamil and Telugu remake as a producer. Co-incidentally, the name of the director who calls the shots for the Telugu and Tamil is also Pawan Kumar. He makes his directorial debut with the bilingual film.
