National Award winning film Queen , starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, is all set to see its Tamil remake soon. And the actress who has been roped in to play the female lead in the Tamil version is none other than Kajal Aggarwal . Speaking about her role she said, 'I will treat Paris Paris as an original script and do it in my own style.” Interestingly, Kajal is not only popular in south cinema, but she also has a lot of fans in Bollywood as she keeps doing Hindi films every now and then.

Not only a Tamil remake, Queen is being remade in Kannada also. Titled Paris Paris, the Tamil remake is being helmed by actor-director Ramesh Aravind , who is also directing the Kannada version of the slice-of-the-life film. On casting Kajal, Ramesh Aravind said, 'Kajal looks beautiful, she has great enthusiasm to learn new things and that’s exactly what a director needs.

Tamil remake of Queen is set in Virudhunagar and will have music by Amit Trivedi , who composed for Queen also.
