After starring in many blockbuster films, the talented man made his directorial debut with the film, Paa Pandi. He is currently busy shooting for his forthcoming film, Maari 2, which is a sequel to his hit film, Maari. Besides Maari 2, the National award-winning actor will also be seen in his Hollywood debut film, Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, which hits the silver screen on 30 May. Another exciting piece of news is that Dhanush might helm his next directorial by mid-2018.

According to reports, the superstar is planning to cast some biggest names from various film producing industries. The first name that is being tossed around is of popular Kannada actor Sudheep . Not just Sudheep , he is also in talks with megastar Nagarjuna for a pivotal role. Though Sudheep has heard the story of the film, he has yet not come onboard as the actor is busy with a Hollywood film.
