Two times National Award-winning actress Zaira Wasim went through a terrible incident on an Air Vistara Flight. The young star allegedly was molested by a middle-aged man who was seated behind her. She narrated the incident on social media and was teary eyed while talking about the same. She spoke about safety of girls among other things as she posted several videos. The ‘ Secret Superstar ’ actress claimed that a middle-aged man seated behind her moved his foot up and down her neck and back among other actions.

Thanks to Mumbai Police’s prompt action, the accused has been identified and arrested. According to the police, the accused is named Vikas Sachdeva, 39, who will be presented before the court. Zaira also complained about the airlines for not being co-operative. A senior official from Vistara flew down to Mumbai to meet Zaira Wasim personally regarding the issue.

Zaira said in a statement, “I just landed, the whole irony of this that I yelled… and this is not done… this is not how you should be treated or made to feel. This is terrible. This is how they will take care of girls? No one will help us if we don’t decide to help ourselves and that is the worst thing.”
