    YRF's Next Film To Have Rishi Kapoor Playing Sonam's Dad.

    YRF’s upcoming film directed by Nupur Asthana will show Rishi Kapoor playing the role of Sonam Kapoor’s father.

    YRF's upcoming film directed by Nupur Asthana will show Rishi Kapoor playing the role of Sonam Kapoor 's father. The film will be a romantic comedy which will cast newcomer Ayushman Khurana and Sonam Kapoor opposite to each other.

    Apparently it was writer Habib Faisal who was keen and interested to have Rishi Kapoor playing a pivotal role in the film and hence he approached him.

    The film is a Delhi based rom-com about Mohit Chadhdha (Ayushmann) and Mayera Sehgal ( Sonam Kapoor ), who are deeply in love, but who are strongly opposed by Mayera's bureaucrat dad Rishi Kapoor . The film's shooting will be commenced in February 2013.
