    When Deepika Becomes Piku

    Several fans of Deepika Padukone have named their daughters 'Piku' after watching her performance in the film.

    Deepika Padukone has been loved and appreciated by her fans worldwide for her exceptional performance in her last blockbuster film ' Piku '. Some of the fans were so impressed and influenced by the family drama movie that they named their daughters by the name of Deepika's character from the film.

    The director Shoojit Sircar has been receiving letters from fans to notify about the fact that they loved their film and have named their daughters 'Piku'. When the director told Deeps about the same she initially did not believe but when fans themselves told her she was duly humbled. She stated in a media interaction that she never expected that the film will have such a deep influence over people and she is glad and about the reaction.
