Actress Nushrat Bharucha of the ' Akaash Vani ' said that she and her co-star Kartik Aaryan had to shed all the colors of their previous film ' Pyaar Ka Punchnama ' for ' Akaash Vani '.

She also said that the characters from the previous film were so ingrained that they had to shed them for their next film. The previous film saw Kartik as Rajat and Nushrat as Neha, his girlfriend who always nags him.

She felt that people shouldn't judge their current characters in parallel with those from their previous films. Even Kartik holds the opinion that the characters in ' Akaash Vani ' are much different than those from the 'PKP'. He shares that his character Akaash is different from Rajat and hers Vani is different from that of Neha. He further says that while Akaash is shameless Rajat was an easy going person and while Vani is a simple girl, Neha in 'PKP' was bitchy.

The film will release this Friday.
