Watch: Tubelight team shares their experience of shooting in Manali

This year’s biggest film Tubelight was shot in the beautiful locales of Manali. No big budget was set to get the picturesque location on the screen. Out of many behind the scene videos, this one is about the team talking about their experience about shooting the film in Manali.

It was Kabir Khan’s idea to shoot Tubelight in Manali. He had been there earlier and knew many locations beforehand. Whereas, Salman described Manali as “beautiful” because of its pleasant climate. In the video, Kabir has also revealed the story behind a spectacular temple build by his production team for the shoot.

Directed by Kabir Khan, film Tubelight was released last Friday on June 23. It garnered mixed reviews from the critics and audience, yet it has managed to become one of the highest grosser of 2017. It starred Sohail Khan, Martin Rey Tangu, Zhu Zhu and late actor Om Puri among other prominent star cast.

The film is set in the backdrop of Indo-Sino War. It projects brotherly love, where Sohail goes missing in the war and Salman’s doesn’t lose his hope of getting his brother back. Its plot is said to be loosely inspired from the Hollywood film Little Boy.
