    Vivek strives to keep Ganga Clean

    Actor and social worker Vivek Oberoi who is known to be always involved in philanthropy, has pledged on building bio-digester toilets as a part of a Clean Ganga campaign.

    Actor and social worker Vivek Oberoi who is known to be always involved in philanthropy, has pledged on building bio-digester toilets as a part of a Clean Ganga campaign.

    Vivek is the brand ambassador of Ganga Action Plan, an initiative to clean the river. Vivek feels proud to be a part of it and considers it as a seva (service) towards our mothers and sister who face severe problems related to health and hygiene due to no proper facility of toilets in schools and their locality. The campaign is initiated by Swami Chidanand Saraswati, founder of Ganga action plan.

    Vivek was in Allahabad with the family to attend the Mahakumbh Mela, where along with Yashodhara Oberoi he performed a Bhoomi Pooja for bricks to be used in the bio-digester toilet construction.
