In the season of biopics, here comes another one to join the league. Soon there will be a biopic on the deadly contract killer of UP, Virendra Pratap Shahi. This biopic was shown green-lit by Vivek Oberoi , who will reportedly play the lead role in this flick. The actor was in Delhi on September 3 on his 39th birthday.

The movie will be helmed by a debutant director. It will talk about Shahi's journey from being a local gunda in Gorakhpur to taking the lives of around 50 people. A new goon killed him in 1997. Vivek spoke about the flick by saying "It is a big-budget gangster drama set in the 80s and 90s in North India. I'm flattered that people still remember me as Chandu Bhai from ' Company ' and want to see me as a rough, rugged anti-hero. That's what I will give them."

Vivek is on a 10-day holiday at a detox retreat and spa near Ahmedabad with his family.
