    Vidya Balan to turn down the remake of the award-wining film 'Sadma'?

    Actress Vidya Balan is not interested to star in the blockbuster film 'Sadma' starring veteran star Sridevi.

    Film maker Lloyd Baptista is keen to film the remake of ‘ Sadma ’ (1983) that starred veteran actress Sridevi alongside Kamal Haasan . The film featured the actress as a woman who behaves as a child after suffering from amnesia. According to a leading daily, the film maker wants to cast Vidya Balan for the key role and, is looking for other actors who can essay the parts aptly.

    But, reports claim that Vidya does not seem interested to take up the film. Sources revealed that, apparently, Vidya, who is a big fan of actress Sridevi is apprehensive about stepping into the senior actor’s shoes. She isn't keen to take to take up the role right now. And, she feels that nobody will be able to match the veteran star’s performance. Also, Vidya has three films in her kitty this year. So, let us wait for Vidya to break her silence regarding this film.
