    Vidya Balan to star in Anant Mahadevan's next?

    The director Anant Mahadevan is planning to rope in Vidya Balan to play the lead in his upcoming biopic of India's first lady doctor Rakmabai.

    The director Anant Mahadevan recently came up with a murder-mystery ' The Xpose ' starring Himesh Reshammiya and the film performed surprisingly well at the box office. Now, Mahadevan is planning to make a biopic on India's very first lady doctor Rakmabai.

    Going by the report, Mahadevan intends to rope in Vidya Balan to play the lead in his biopic. However, Balan is also offered the biopic of MS Subbulakshmi and the actress now has to decide as to which biopic she wants to star in. The further news update stated that the director Mahadevan interacted with Rakmabai's grand-niece and bought the rights of 'Dr Rakmabai - The Odessey'.

    Mahadevan had a discussion regarding the project at Vidya's Juhu home and now, the actress will take the final call.
