Vidya Balan is one such actress from the industry who never fails to mesmerize the viewers with the stellar performances. Known for her peculiar roles in films like Kahaani and Dirty Picture, Balan recently essayed a challenging character recently in Begum Jaan and once again nailed it. The actress will be next seen in the upcoming film Tumhari Sulu where she essays the role of a radio jockey Sulochna fondly known as Sulu.

The actress impressed one and all with the radio jockey act in Munna Bhai which is still widely remembered. Her role in this film, however, is very different from what she did in the Sanjay Dutt starrer. According to a leading daily, the actress has been receiving requests from the radio stations to host a complete show. Vidya found this idea quite interesting since she is familiar with the space. She is considering some offers and might take up show hosting for radio during Tumhari Sulu promotions, as per the early updates.

In the statement, Vidya said, “Being an RJ is fun for me. Firstly, because I love talking (laughs) and secondly because I am familiar with the space because I played one in Lage Raho Munnabhai.”

Tumhari Sulu also stars Neha Dhupia as Vidya’s boss and Manav Kaul as her husband. This film has been directed by Suresh Triveni . It is touted to be a refreshing story which is releasing on December 1.
