    Vidya Balan starrer Begum Jaan release date postponed from January 2017 to March 2017.

    Srijit Mukherjee's upcoming directorial Begum Jaan was slated to release in January 2017, but as the January releases may not perform much better at the ticket window, the release date of this outing has been postponed. Now, Vidya Balan starrer Begum Jaan will hit the screens in March 2017.

    As revealed by a close source "The new date is doubly special as it coincides with the 5-year anniversary of Kahaani, Vidya's second big hit after The Dirty Picture." Begum Jaan is the official adaptation of the Bengali movie Rajkahini by Srijit Mukherjee.

    The release of Begum Jaan will happen after the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will hit the screens on March 10 and before Anushka Sharma's Phillauri unfolds on March 31.
