    BollywoodMDB reported our readers earlier that actress Vidya Balan will be next seen in a lead role in the upcoming movie Begum Jaan , produced by Mahesh Bhatt. The film is a remake of the critically acclaimed film Rajkahini, which is a tale of a group of sex workers who try to protect their home, a brothel from the powerful.

    The latest update regarding the movie is that the film has been passed with an A certificate from the CBFC board and is passed with no cuts. Director Srijit Mukherjee is happy with the decision, as per the sources.

    Along with Vidya Balan , Begum Jaan also stars Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Mishti, Ila Arun among others. The film also has a cameo appearance of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah.
