One of the finest actors of Indian cinema breathed his last on 6th January 2017 and left a voice which no other artist can fill. He was one of those few actors who achieved equal success in mainstream commercial cinema as well as art-house cinema. After his untimely death, the thespian has been seen in movies like The Ghazi Attack , Viceroy's House, and Tubelight . His final work, titled Mr. Kabaadi, will hit screens posthumously next week, on 8th September.

Produced by Anup Jalota produced, Mr. Kabaadi is a satirical comedy film which revolves around an aging knacker and what all happens when he suddenly becomes rich and how he flaunts his new status in the society. We are sure that the film will find its audience because whenever Puri appeared in social satirical films, he garnered praises, be it Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro or Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho .

Besides Om Puri , the movie also features an impressive cast of Vinay Pathak , Annu Kapoor , Sarika , Satish Kaushik and many more. Bankrolled by made under the banner of Anup Jalota Films and Om Chhangani Films, Mr. Kabaadi is written and directed by Om Puri ’s first wife, Seema Kapoor .
