Veteran actor Dharmendra debuts on Twitter!

One of the most popular actors in the history of Indian cinema, Dharmendra has made his debut on the micro-blogging site Twitter. His sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, welcomed their father on the social network.

Dharmendra joined one of the most popular social networks in the world on Tuesday by sharing two photographs of himself from the sets of his much-awaited forthcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana 3. "Your love has encouraged me to come closer to you... So, here is me, from the sets of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se'... New Beginnings, shoot mode, Hyderabad," the veteran actor tweeted.

Within minutes of him joining Twitter, his fans started following him and in a blink of an eye his followers were over 3,273, including his sons Sunny and Bobby and grandson Karan Deol, who is all set to make his acting debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Two days later Sunny welcomed his father on Twitter. "Me and Bob eventually succeeded in getting Dad here... Welcome Dad," Sunny tweeted.

The trio of Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol is currently shooting for Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, the third installment of the hit film franchise Yamla Pagla Deewana.
