Shashank Khaitan's upcoming film Badrinath Ki Dulhania will see Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt teaming up once again after starring together in films like Student Of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Varun essays a desi guy in this film and this role requires him to look rustic and beefed up.

Talking about this, Varun's trainer Prashant Sawant stated "He had been working out with the look in mind after wrapping up Rohit Dhawan's Dishoom. We needed to increase muscle mass so besides weight training I added more carbs in his diet, like brown rice and sweet potatoes," Prashant has been working with Varun since last three years. Varun spends almost an hour-and-a-half at the gym everyday. The actor needs to shoot some action sequences too and he is prepping up for this, said his trainer Sawant.
