There is no denying the fact that Shoojit Sircar is one of the finest storytellers that we have today in Bollywood. From Vicky Donor to Piku , his movies talk about subjects which many mainstream directors cannot even think of. The director is now coming up with yet another unusual story with his film October , which stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role. This is the first time when the actor is working with Sircar, but he is so impressed with the filmmaker that he wants to work with him more often.

“The beautiful thing even after doing this film is that he is still on my wish-list. I want to work with him again and again. There is always a message in his films. And this film too had one, which I never knew how to tell people… Subconsciously I wanted to say this to the people. We want to say something that is right in front of you in life and we never learn from it,” said Dhawan to a leading daily.

Also starring debutant Banita Sandhu , October is slated to release on 13th April 2018.
