Varun Dhawan Got Into Twitter Controversy!

There is no doubt, twitter is one of the greatest tools for Social Networking and stars and celebrities frequently use it to stay connected and keep their fandom updated about latest happening. But this perfect tool can also turn foe and more likely in the case of a celebrity, who can be subject to scrutiny about what they have tweeted! And an addition to that list of victimized celebrities, Varun Dhawan, who has 4.7 million followers on Twitter, has just being subjected to face resistance from Sony Sab TV!

The incident was, Shah Rukh Khan recently went to the show Dance Plus Season 3, which was judged by ace choreographer and director of ABCD 2, Remo D’Souza. So with the intention of appreciation, Varun Dhawan tweeted, ‘Dance Plus definitely has the best live dance acts on TV. Superb.’ And as he tweeted, the PR executive team of Sony Sab TV didn’t take it keenly and asked Varun to delete the tweet.

Apparently, Varun Dhawan is the official brand ambassador for Sony Sab TV and being promoting happiness brand for quite a time! And it was kind of bound to happen as Dance Plus the dance reality show airs on the rival to the Sony Network, on Star Network. So a team of Sony Sab TV wasn’t so appreciative of this kind gesture.

It is not simple as whom to blame as both sides are true to their intention! A brand who pays a brand ambassador also expects to be loyal to brand by all means. And though he was innocent to his gesture, it was also a discreet decision of him to delete such tweet and show his brand loyalty to the Sony Sab TV! Good move Varun!
