Udta Punjab to have pretty wide release in around 2000 screens

Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming directorial Udta Punjab is finally all set to hit the screens on June 17 and the film got just one cut. Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd and Phantom Production's Udta Punjab will reportedly release in around 2000 screens, which will be a pretty wide release for the film.
The makers have decided to release the movie considering its viewers and its genre and they will not open it too wide. Udta Punjab revolves around the drug abuse issue in Punjab. The film features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.
