Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna is not seen on the silver screen since a long time, but now she is going to return with something different. Going by the report, Twinkle Khanna will turn producer under her banner Mrs. Funnybones Movies and the film will feature Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. The flick will be directed by R. Balki .

"It’s Twinkle’s concept that will be entirely developed by Balki who is writing the script, screenplay and dialogues. Twinkle will not be involved in the writing process.The film goes on the floors in March next year,” said a source. Talking about Twinkle as producer, her superstar husband Akshay jokingly said, "She (Twinkle) is the producer and I will work on a salary."

Mrs. Funnybones Movies is planning to produce mainstream commercial cinema as well as the offbeat-parallel genre, reportedly. Prior to this, Twinkle Khanna was the producer of the films like Thank You, Tees Maar Khan, Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Patiala House.
